This was directed by Tony Gatlif in 2004 and stars Romain Duris and Lubna Azabal.

Its about a young French/Arabic couple who walk/hitch their way back to their birth place of Algeria.
There seem to be some gaps in this film including some which just seem dumb, but I found it very grabbing and a good watch.
There are some long musical parts that suggest, together with a few strange scenes that this may be some sort of fantasy.
I don't know, but it certainly has something.
