I loved this and thought it the best film of 2006 (actually saw it this year). Great story and wonderfully acted. Once again we part company.

I agree--Dame Judi was fabulous in this one.

... as he has certainly seen a different film to the one thought one of the best of last year. The same goes for The History Boys, although I think that is so much about a BRITISH GRAMMAR school that it might not travel well.

  The History Boys was drivel, unimaginative. The boys seemed hardly of normal intelligence.
  Now, if you wish to see a good film, "Children of Men" certainly is that, and more. Superb, actually.
