  I had gone to my hi-fi store and picked up marantz av9000 pre/pro. it sounded smooth but felt it was old hat, discontinued and all, took it back, got the rotel rsp 1066. all I can say is SWEET!!!! With My sacd running 6 direct analog it is unbelievable! I have the extra needed amplifiers and speakers for 7.1 (paradigm studio reference 40's) not enough room yet though, but its there for future use.

  Hi: I have heard the earlier version and thought that it had some nice features such as 3 channel stereo and lots of video switching. Sound wise I felt that it was in line with its price.
