HiAfter a lot of stress and walking around mall after mall, I have finally come down to 2 TV choices. The Toshiba 34HBX82 or the Pansonic CT34WX52. I am also confused on the difference between the 34HB81, 34HB82 and the 34NBX82?
Also looking at the Sony NS715P progressive scan DVD?
I would welcome your thoughts as I want to make a purchase before Xmas.

Well, do you want filet or NY? Either TV choice would be a good one. I happen to own a Panasonic HDTV and it's been great. But that shouldn't deter you from the Toshiba. I would encourage you to look at the Panasonic RP-82 DVD player over the Sony though. The Panasonic has the Farijouda chip and no chroma bug. Besides, it'll be one less remote if you opt for the Panasonic TV.
Many thanks for your reply. Ended up going with the Panasonic and the sony dvd. Just got to wait for delivery, and no doubt set-up will be the next head ache. Will consider the more upmarket dvd when I have additional budget.Cheers
