Reasoning include, since we are in a down economy, we don't want to be so glitzy, so we go with silver, to silver goes with anything, to black is so blah....

About time we finally get some colors other than black in the US market. I'm really enjoying my silver Panasonic DVD-RP82 DVD player with the mirror finish. I'd like to see more choices in gold and champaigne, like we see in the Japanese markets.
As for the original question. I know Samsung makes black 27inch and 30inch (16:9) HDTV monitors. Maybe they have larger models available?

  Chrome and silver goes well with the High tech and plastic look. Black And gold for the furniture wood tones.
