  Thank you very much for your advice. I tried toning down the picture and that didn't work, and this TV doesn't have "contrast" setting.

    It's called "PICTURE" not contrast in Panasonic TVs.... Overblooming of contrast could be the culprit.

    Is this a plasma TV?
