Can only find S input with hard drive capability.
Any help on a model would be much appreciated.Jeff

I'm sure you can do this on a PC. I'm sure that there is some video capture with a component-in solution. I'd recommend this over a stand-alone box any day... a hell of a lot more flexible and upgradeable to boot! Considering the cost of most of these stand-alone units, probably not all that much more expensive.
I'm not sure that there is. I am getting ready to look into a DVD -hard drive , to dub old VHS videos. This might present a problem for me as well, since my VHS does not have S out. I might be able to get around it by feeding the RCA into an older analog mixer , that does have S out, to go to the DVD-hard drive recorder.But I thank you for bringing this issue up. I will look into it.
