I am a dunce on this subject!I bought a writable dvd player and want to know the best way to connect it to:
CABLE BOX... TV.I CAN RECORD WHAT I SEE ON THE TV SCREEN. I CAN NOT RECORD ANOTHER TV CHANNEL WHILE WATCHING A DIFFERENT CHANNEL.
MY PRESENT CONNECTION SEQUENCE IS CABLE TO CABLE BOX TO TV TO DVD.

Cable-> Splitter->Splitter out1 -> DVD writer In
Splitter out2 -> TVDVD writer out -> secondary TV input. Use your remote control to switch which TV inout you are watching...
