What does everbody do with their widescreen Tv's when they are watching regular tv, stretch the picture or watch it with bars on the side? Do you have to worry about burn in with the bars? Thanks for any input.

Follow Ups:
I have a 34" CRT direct view so burn-in isn't much of an issue for me.I watch most 4:3 programming in 14:9 ratio rather than zoom. (I don't like full zoom.) This results in very narrow grey bars at the sides but they're not intrusive. You do lose a bit from the bottom and top of the frame but you can still read subtitles. Better visual impact than 4:3 - a good compromise IMO. Classic, Academy ratio films I watch in 4:3.
It varies. Mostly in 4:3, but sometimes I use 'full'. I can handle most people looking a little wider....except perhaps Victoria Principal on Dallas - that wouldn't be right!
It depends... Some 4:3 programs look fine in wide-zoom and for others I set the TV to 4:3 with the bars on each side. I have another TV that I normally use for my day to day casual consumption of junk like the news, weather report, etc. The 16:9 screen is used mostly for viewing DVD's and HDTV broadcasts which are in a widescreen format.
Depends. I watch it both ways. It depends on the program I am watching as some look better in wide-zoom.

I set it to 4 x 3 evem though I have a sophisticated "wide Zoom". I find the wide zoom distorted. I am not worries about burn in since the set was vey quickly calinrated by an ISF technician.
