I'm looking for a good DVD player with 5.1 outputs to connect to a Dolby Digital ready receiver. Any recommendations?? Right now, I'm looking at the Sony DVP-NC875V and the Panasonic F86 or F87.

Since I assume that you are asking about a unit that is equipped with DTS and Dolby Digital surround sound decoders, I would highly recommend a Pioneer. Last year's DV-563A is a better unit than the cheaper DV-578A that replaced it, and there are plenty of them around for decent deals. You will also have the benefit of SACD and DVD-Audio playback. I used to be high on Toshiba, but I have had some bad luck. Cheers, Mike.
