Hi.I am in process of mounting 5 Ascend Acoustic speakers on wall for HT. I would like to mount rear and front L/R in top corners of room but have been told on this board that center should be at same level with rest of speakers. That means I would have to hang the center up near ceiling, which I don't mind, but I cannot find a center channel bracket that tilts to point the speaker down at the listener/viewer like the rest of the speakers. I'm not sure if this is even necessary, but if so, my alternative would be to mount the L/R speakers lower in the middle of the wall inline with the center pointing directly at me and wife doesn't like that look.
Follow Ups:
My center is about a foot above my mains and it sounds like a totally different speaker than the rest when dialogue pans across. They're all Mirage Omni speakers but apparently the one foot difference is enough to make the tone differ.

The only way you are going to achieve smooth onscreen pans is to have the three front speakers in a plain at screen level. The higher they are placed the more angle toward the listener/viewer they will have to be. If you can explain to your wife what you are trying to achieve (point out what you have already spent for a HT environment) maybe she will go along.
