Hi,
What is anyone using for long runs of speaker cable to the surround channels? I'm thinking of going from the front wall up into the ceiling (attic) and then back to the surrounds. I don't want to spend alot but still get some quality and have something small enough to work with.
Thanks,
Bill

Follow Ups:
watch the length of the cat5's as the capacitance can grow very quickly.
So Amps cant handle his C cables well, Best check with the manufacture what the max capacitance load they can run into. otherwise your amp may start oscillating and fry the output stage.
but otherwise is a good cable to use.
Other options are starquad cables. Duster over on cables has a discounted source if you interested.

I use Kimber 4PR, good cable for a reasonable price. A lower cost option would be to run Category 5 computer cable, it's cheap & it sounds good.

Do you do anything special with the CAT-5 wires? Do you parallel any of them? Etc?
