  onkyo, denon, yamaha, marantz and maybe a couple others, esp in the sub-$1K level. above that, you get into a whole nother level.. i've been happy with my integra receiver (onkyo's elite line). had it several yrs, sound is great, used it for a while as a pre-amp to a classe amplifier for 2 channel.
