Congratulations on your great find! Your comments remind me of my experience 15 years ago, when I built a Heathkit front projector set and set it up for a 96" picture. The picture quality was by any standards poor because the broadcast signal was blown up so large. The suspension of disbelief was powerful though, due to the life size presentation.
