Greetings All,Just recently I have been getting a smaller rectangular picture on my wide screen HDTV. The HD channels are fine and fill the screen and most non-HD channels give the bars on the side like normal. However, the History channel and if I order pay per view in "Wide" screen version I get the smaller rectangler picture with bars all around??
I have a samsung DLP, cable HD TV connected through a passive video switcher. I do have the cables converted from HDMI to DVI, however have been using that set up for awhile with no issues?
Any thoughts on what it could be and if maybe I have a setting or something wrong?
Follow Ups:
Most wide screen sets have four settings although the names might be different. "Normal" is for standard 4:3 material, "Zoom" is for widescreen but non anamorphic material, "Full" is for widescreen anamorphic stuff, and "Wide Zoom" (which I hate, BTW) stretches the sides of 4:3 material to create a faux wide screen picture. Try experimenting with these setting when You run into your problem again.
