I saw someone complain about a receiver that didn't have enough VIDEO IN ports. Why would you plug your video into an audio amp?

Follow Ups:
Instead of switching the audio inputs on the receiver and the video input on the TV/PJ, one would only have to switch once using the receiver. This can often cause a loss in picture quality, but is preferable to some due to convenience/less wiring to the TV/PJ, etc.
You plug all your video components into the receiver and then just one out to the TV.
