Not sure what the solution is. I have HD video coming from both a Samsung DVD recorder and from my HD Cable box going to the TV (Samsung HL-R6768W) via HDMI cables. The Audio from both sources come out the Digital Out RCA connection on each device and feed into a B&K Ref 20 pre-amp. The audio comes slightly before the video.Help

Your out of sync condition may be caused by the extra time it takes to process the video signal.The extra steps ... deinterlacing, upconverting, and/or scaling to native resolution can take extra time, and may be the cause of the video lagging slightly behind the audio, making the presentation sound like a badly re-dubbed foreign Si-Fi movie from the 50's.
Some HT receivers/Pre processor have a specific delay function you can adjust to re-sync the video and audio ... check your HT manual to see if you have this adjustment
