Just purchsed JVC/Echostar 6000 HD satellite receiver. It was only
$400 add that with rebate from dishnetwork for first time subscribers and I only paid about $250. Set it up on my Mitsubishi 55807. The HD picture is awesome! I looked at all of the other hd recievers, RCA-wrong hookup and $600, Mitsubishi - wasn't out yet and I heard it would be about $600. Only problem now I have 3 useless direct tv receivers

Just to let you know, Jimboc:
JVC is trying there best to OBSELETE the current HDTV. If you want to know more, and how mad everyone is, i'll find the url for you, or some else can help. I will NEVER buy, recommend, or look at another JVC product unless they stop with this garbage!

Jimboc, how many channels and types of programming are avail.? I'm a Dish subscriber and have the Pioneer 510, but haven't taken the plunge yet.
