It was designed on a Toshiba set. That price you quote is high. I've seen the unit for under $500 on the net.
Follow Ups:
I picked up on the Toshiba player today and it's got a great picture and sounds real good with my B&K Reference 30. I bought it at a Bricks and Mortar store for $700; just more comfortable than with the faceless net. I've gotten some real bad vibes talking on the phone with a few internet audio/video retailers. The SD-6200 is taking over video work here. It's good to have DTS now as well. Listening to the Criterion remaster of The Rolling Stones "Gimme Shelter" is much more satisfying in DTS than Dolby Digital.
See Ya. Dave
Where can I find the Toshiba at this price and the Pioneer DV37 for that matter. In other words, what's a good site to buy equipment at?
Thanks
Toshiba AND 6200. Also call Onecall.
