I've viewed many players (Toshiba 3006, Toshiba 5109, Toshiba 6200, Denon DVD-3000, Pioneer DV-09, Sony DVP-S7000) via my front projection setup and 3 rear projection sets. The differences in picture quality are marginal. Some of the players have more artifacts than others (especially the non-progressive units), but most people wouldn't even notice this. All are plenty enjoyable to watch.
