  How are you going to get a signal to this TV?

  Cable, Satellite, Over the Air Anteena, HD Set top box?

  All of these have different strategies depending on your particular setup.

    Assuming your set-top HDTV box has optical and coaxial out for Audio, i would get some high-grade Coax and run the digital signal that way to the receiver (i.e. SPIDF to SPIDF via coax!)

    I'll be using a Comcast Cable box (maybe 2 - a digital box I have now and next week they'll be installing what they call a side/car box for HDTV reception).
