  I have a 10ht. The website that you're pointed to above pretty much says the Sony has a great one in it. Even most progressive scan DVD players don't really improve on it much. I just bought a Sony sat hd100. The projector is capable of amazing images given the input. I'm starting to form the opinion that the limiting factor is DVD's, not the 10ht.

    I heard the one in the 10HT is junk. Get a Iscan and it will beat the socks out of it. To take full advantage of the 10HT, get a external de-interlacer/scaler like the Faroudja NRS.

  The Sony has a very nice one in the box but, the new Philips 962(?)due to be released this month offers the new DCDi chip, as well as a bonus,,, multichannel SACD,, WOW! MSRP $599,,,, double WOW!
