ON Wiki I read that the book very explicitly speak about homosexuality.

Offensive? I did not. Even if, I suppose like you, I donīt like seeing two men kissing or fucking...

I presume it was the original manuscript. The series won accolades for following the book verbatim.
Regardless, the movie was just cheesy.
I like the way it centered more ( as I remember ) than the series, on the central theme: Catholicism.
The film says, Atheist the book ( I read ) Agnostic...Can you remember?

Of course I did.
It is on the self. For a second view. ( or for the whole truth I already had a second quick view for admiring Monsieur Blanche, which is in the series, 10000000000000000000 better that in the film.
