I've seen in recent years.
I can't think of an adolescent film clearly it's superior nor of a vampire film that isn't over seventy years old which tops it.
Perhaps you'd supply a few examples you find better?

If you think the film is the ne plus ultra of vampire films then I'm happy for you.

Why should I humor you when all you want to do is start another pissing contest? I'll name a film or two and you will tell me how stupid I am because I don't agree with you.
That's the end of my participation in this thread.
I thought "Let the Right ..." was outstanding.
I felt the only weakness in the film was that Eli (the vampire) didn't seem "old" ... at all. Her real age was implied to be around 50 years old however, her character never conveyed a depth of life experience. She always played it kind of like a "kid".
All that said, I found "Let the Right ..." one of the most original Vampire films I've ever seen.
In reference to your statement about a "better" film, I have to admit "Right One"might be hard to beat.
"Shadow of the Vampire" might be worth mentioning as a film that is comparable and debatably "better".

to be her new keeper so maybe that is why she 'acted' young
thanks
