Most cities have them, year after year, sometimes biannually, and they get a lot of press from, well, the press. A thought experiment: How far would a Christian Film Festival get, in the entertainment pages? Or an Arab-Semitic Film Festival? Or (ha!) a White Film Festival?

What are you talking about? There are hispanic film festivals, black film festivals, Polish film festivals, Italian film festivals. You display a lot of ignorance in lashing out at Jewish film festivals, as these types of things are organized for every ethnicity, region, race and creed.

  "Lashing out"? LOL. A person makes a simple, truthful statement and look what happens.
  
  The point, perhaps deliberately missed, is that the entertainment industry is pretty much in jewish hands (don't even try to deny it, see the bragging link below, and many others) as well as the entertainment press. And that's why the idea of an organized and publicized Iranian or Christian (inter alia) film festival becomes so amusingly unlikely, yet goads certain people into excessive verbal retaliation when you say so.

Well, lesse... being a non-religious, non-Catholic, non-Jewish, non-Arab none of those would bother me. What is your objection to any of them?

Back in old days I remember attending French Film Festival, American Film Festival and that did not bother me none.

As long as I am not forced to participate that does not concern me. I don't know how far a White Film Festival would get in the entertainment pages, but I suspect it would be all over front pages of many papers.
