THE common was of course meant not as social class but as a spiritual " marker "-
In another world to please the people. those one who need to be flattered.

IF you like to be manipulated then you are in that category...

Who do you know who "likes" to be manipulated? I enjoyed the film and, especially, Rush's performance.
