Okay, so I qualify for two of three.
Saw it for the first time, picked up the Blu Ray for $15 or so. Nice flick placed in Civil War West. Seemed odd the mixture of hard core western scenes, shootouts, hangings, etc. and the Civil war. Liked the big three-way shootout at the end and how ole Clint solved the impossible problem.
The movie was quite long, just under three hours. I never had seen too many westerns. They were huge when I was a kid and I never really understood them. When I watch them now I find they are much better then I originally realized. All I remembered were the shootouts and dead Indians.

Follow Ups:
Funny The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly is not even Clint Eastwood's best Western.

That was a real departure from the typical western at the time dirty and gritty. That movie also marked the emergence of the anti hero.

The "spaghetti Westerns" directed by Sergio Leone are not at all like typical Westerns except for the Western-looking setting (and Leone filmed in Spain rather than Death Valley or other American locations). The editing, music, acting style, plot line, and chacterizations have nothing in common with American-made Westerns. I bet you won't find a single sequence in any American Western like this one:
I always thought that movie was shot like a silent film.

silent about that 11 minutes. Magnificent film making with every second filled with sumptuous aural and filmic repast.;^)

When I used the word silent I was referring to lack of dialogue.

The first time I saw it I was 14 and it was several days after seeing it before I could relate to the real world again...seeing it now I still catch some of that buzz.

.. "The Ghost Writer", in an important cameo.
Of course I wanted more, and couldn't help but shudder to think that some of this great actor's work wound up on the cutting room floor as the film seemed a touch truncated in fleshing out anything but essential details.
It is always a pleasure to savor the depth and refinement of great talent such as Eli's.
....commanding in every respect but never to the detriment the role or the film.

...to tout a couple of old favorites, The Professionals and The Stalking Moon. The latter is a Gregory Peck vehicle that ages as well as his better known works.
I love a good Western.
