I have Comcast and agree it blows. I think I pay around $120 a month for internet and cable with about 50 channels, of which I probably watch 5 99% of the time. A couple of my Comcast-subscribing friends have had good luck calling the Co. periodically to take advantage of the "new subscribers" rates offered every now and then.

It's too bad Comcast doesn't offer a package which let's one get more movie channels. I'd gladly trade all channels that show sports and (primarily) reality tv for a couple decent film channels.

only the package which offers Turner Classic Movies. This is $7/mo on top of the bare bones cable + High Speed internet. I think 12MB/s and a heafty hunk of web storage. If I had a 46" plasma screen I;d pay for the streaming.. as it is I was taking 3 DVD's a month for whatever it was... I'll probably go back to a two at a time plan come the Fall.
