        The reason why I became a fan of revolvers is that I can practice to my heart's content inside my condo with laser target devices without having to reset the trigger manually like semi's.
        
        Besides when one is really good with revolvers, one can actually fire them faster than semi's.

        ...problem with those light triggers is that return spring is also light and as a result the trigger reset is not quick.
        
        My belief is that optimal pound spring has to be chosen based on:
        
        1. One's index finger length relative to grip circumference, and length on the dominant side of the grip and on the dominant hand
        
        2. How strong that index finger is
        
        3. Trigger length
        
        4. Trigger width
        
        5. Trigger pull length
        
        6. Very important! Ratio of recoil spring pound to trigger spring pound, the reason why this is so important is that recoil spring will decide how fast the slide moves back and forth, and that affect the trigger reset.

        That smith makes guns for champions, he knows his stuff. All the springs are pretty standard, BTW. I think his trick - and it IS some trick - is in the sear, as nobody knows how he consistently gets reliable triggers in the 1 - 1.5 lb range. On that particular gun the trigger eventually went to 15 oz, at which point it started having some issues, but up to that point it was rock solid, I put over 30,000 rounds through it without any issues - and I bought it used. His other gun, the one I am presently using (in the picture here), has slightly heavier trigger, by maybe 6oz, and it is incredibly fast.

I can't stand their gun fight scene in general, especially those John Woo style Hong Kong stuff....too 'ballety', too much choregraphy.

For the same reason, I was never a fan of matrix.
