.... I'm at a loss for decent words to describe this disaster. "Twlight" is a masterpiece by comparison. I think audience word of mouth is going to sink this more quickly than the professional reviews could ever hope to.

I read the reviews and saw the previews and expected something much worse. This is the way I approach MSC (Main Stream Cinema) so as not to be frothing by the time I leave. As I said, I slipped into the story and the feel of the film. The Rossini segment got me going and I appreciated the story telling device of the museum.
I feel better for seeing it rather than having skipped it. I won't be doing that with "The Heat".
It is much more pleasant to go with the flow than to sit there and enumerate the critical errors.

...or at least the decline of Disney. It's going to be interesting to read the financial pages on Monday to get the "analyst's" take on this production's weakness and its effect on Disney's earnings specifically and what it portends for Hollywood in general.
