I know what you mean, but Bullock got raves in the review I saw, said Cloony was Cloony. Isn't he too old to an Astronaut??
Anyway, barring really bad reviews, esp locally, I want to see it in IMAX. It should be something(!), but I'm bringing ear plugs. Don't leave home without them...

  ...I'll be seeing the IMAX version tomorrow. I hear ya' (ha ha) regarding the ear plugs for IMAX presentations. Joe Morgenstern of WSJ mentioned this in his utterly positive review. His advice was to resist the temptation and not use them because while there are loud portions, overall the sound design was "essential to the experience". Don't know if Morgenstern's review was based on the IMAX version although he tends towards this when there's a choice.

    the reviewer would have. I read the first and last paragraphs, to say it was a rave would be an understatement. Personally, I'm waiting on Willy Bonka's review. He's usually the first here to catch a new release.
