Continues with a nice performance following excellent work in Lawless and Zero Dark Thirty. Gary Oldman didn't exactly suck not did Serkis.

I actually thought most of the movie was quite thoughtful and reflective and was relieved the writers didn't take the easy way out with an all battles all the time summer blockbuster storyline. *** out of ****
