I think its writing is purely pathetic, but anyway, speaking of The Following - it is a "bag buys-good guys" show, with the limitations of the genre, however, within those limitations I think it does marvelous job.

One sign - if bad guys truly send your blood pressure up. There was nothing of that in BB, but here it happened often. And when the good guys took their revenge, you had an almost orgasmic experience - another mark of a successful script.

  With just 30 episodes it doesn't take too much time, but I can promise you a few late nights. I know I had some! :)
