Generally showing little or no emotions.
Dark has more to do with the subject matter, full of the sense of glum... but usually portrayed the strong emotions... for instance, that film, Siberia, Monamour, is very dark, there is very little hope for anyone in it... but the emotions run strong.

I am actually quite sorry it is not made move accessible, it is a good film.
