We got the 70" Sony 4K TV delivered, and now playing with it.It does an incredibly good job with 4K - either from the streaming, or downloaded demos. The colors are fantastic, the picture is simply gorgeous.
But its user interface truly sucks, there is no provision for a keyboard, and the browser is below rudimentary. Its remote control is worthy of a $39 DVD player - cheaper than I have ever seen.
I am still learning its adjustments, but in the meantime we also ordered the 65" Samsung, to compare side-by-side.
I know the Samsung has a much better interface, but I suspect the Sony's larger size will make it the winner!
Ah... and the mandatory question about the black... well, it seem to be superb, but I have to admit, I spend very little time staring at them.

side viewing. I think those are the raps against that technology?
I haven't done much research, since I'm so happy w/the Kuro, but I believe those drawbacks have been addressed strongly by engineers on the latest iterations. Personal testimonials by guys you know and that have established cred always is better, though.
The viewing angle on that model is an issue, but since we only watch from one position, I think it is acceptable, considering that most people agree it offers probably the best image quality of the current bunch.
So far have not noticed any blurring in the stuff we watch, and don't expect that to change... but would not mind to watch some tennis, perhaps.
If I wanted a plasma, I could have bought the 65" Samsung, great plasma, by all accounts... BUT... it is not 4K, and once you see it, you have hard time going back to your lame 1080p... :-(
