posting occurs on the "entertainment" rather than the "art" side of movies, on this site?
Is it hard work for some to watch more cerebral stuff?
Those that think that's snobbish probably need to lie down with a headache after watching the opening credits of an Ozu or Carol Reed film.
Regarding their audio systems, of course, they're perfectly prepared to be "snobbish."

  It is often fashionable, and oh, so cool, to be ignorant.
  
  My point was that much of contemporary music is not exactly high art, so it only gets the right to be called art thanks to the dead old guys. Without any questions there is plenty of room for art in film... just like in any other form of expression.
