This was a Scarlett Johanssen film from 2 years ago I had missed about an attractive alien who takes men away to her lair, noted mainly for Scarlett's nude scene toward the end.
I liked the film a lot - it is very atmospheric, artistic and moody and she does a great job.
Ebert's site gave it 4 out of 4 stars.
Very well done - and the nude scene is a bonus.

she shouldn't have done a nude scene.
...natural and somewhat ordinary. She might have worked out a bunch to improve her muscle tone. She didn't and, otherwise, I saw no evidence of surgical enhancements, unless I'm mistaken.

I agree. She looks better dressed with her boobs pushed together and out of her low cut tops. Not a Halle Berry type super body.
She's thirty and married. Hel-loo! In fact, the movie emphasized how dumpy she looked.

In the real universe, Kruller. She put on weight for the role in fact. Her butt looked ike a sack of potatoes in her jeans outfit.

In the old days if one wanted to expose oneself you needed a raincoat and an unwitting audience. Not everyone has a raincoat, but EVERYBODY has a communicator with a camera nowadays.
Any movie is a pretty poor substitute for reality, I'd say. You have seen nothing.
Just be thankful the casting didn't follow the book.

Although Johanson's wardrobe was minimalistic, but in a good way!!

Hmmm, a hostile alien wearing the skin of Scarlett Johannsen. Wait there are more than one aliens wearing human skin and working as a team. It seems they are on a mission to lure young adult men into a pool of caustic liquid that slowly digests them.
Think Venus fly-trap. And the alien wearing Scarlett's body is the deadly flower.

Atmospheric yes, artistic and moody, yes. I didn't like it as much as you. What was the point of her doing what she did?
The more I see it more the more I agree. It was all done better, now that I think about it, in Starman. The book, by the way, Under the Skin, is a horse of. Different Color, being much more detailed and uh, horrific. No one would ever be able to make a movie true to the book.

I'm pretty sure she was much more interested in the flanks and ribs.
Here's a bit fuller plot summary: Scarlett drives around in a van through the streets of Glasgow, luring men to their doom. But then she feels bad about it and suffers the consequences.
So I guess the point is, she shouldn't have felt bad about what she was doing.
It seems like a script that could have been written by a scorned woman.
...well, she was an alien luring men to their doom.
Then she began feeling emotions.
First compassion, then love, then fear.
You can read anything into it you want.
