" have been noticeably" incorrect tense in the verb modifier , as long as criticism is on the table.
Perhaps too fine a point for a guy who thinks a comic book movie contains a hidden political statement, that just happens to be a plot that attacks him personally.
I have read more cognizant reviews.
Follow Ups:
criticism. It was a mediocre movie not up to Marvel standards despite costing $200M.
And calling names is poor conversation, something a child might do.I'm 66 years old and mean no offense if I am addressing a child or someone with limited abilities.
If I am addressing a fully grown adult with english as their first language, grammar , as you already know, has nothing to do with politics.
While you might resent my education, although I don't know why, knowledge is not political.I happen to value knowledge quite highly, and find seeking it the better path for me. I came by my knowledge honestly, hard work and world travel from my seafaring days provided most of my education, along with time in the high mountains. I have lots of stories, with a hand full even life or death.
I was just thinking back to the few men I have known who did not read or write. An easy tip is that they never check the menu, just look to see what people are eating. Most didn't try to hide it, but , funny thing, they all spoke very well, no grammatical errors.
English is a very powerful language. We can express thoughts that some other languages , japanese , for one example, literally have no words to express. They have to build a collection of words to try to get at the meaning, while english has one word, with a clear meaning as to what is being said.
I respect that, civilization at work all the way back to the invention of the english language.
No shame on me that I have enough skill to do my part as a native english speaker to know the rules , and that they are useful, and have been for centuries.
Call correct grammar all the names all you want, I will object key board internet style just this once. I will let Shakespeare decide if word should be constructed to convey thought precisely.

...I'm not sure I'd have used "cognizant". I like "cogent". Or did you intend to imply the subject review was influenced by some lack of knowledge or awareness? My take is that it was intended to be a contrarian/anti-PC review and therefore out of line with the mainstream.
You grasped my intention completely. I don't always shun fools as often as I should, sometimes I will stop and collect a bit of trash to make the world a better place.
