I've had the Toshiba 3108 (now w/sister) and run the Toshiba 2200 ($220) and I haven't noticed anything out of whack. I did recently purchase the Denon 1600 to use as a DVD~A player in a two channel system and from what I've been told, it's the first 'new' Denon w/o the Chroma Bug from the factory. Unfortunately, I've yet to use it as a DVD~Vp.Take care, Chris
