Greetings,

I will be adding a sub woofer on my ht this Christmas. My questions are:
1) What is better ported or closed box sub.
2) 1 big honking sub with lots of power or 2 small ones about 150 watts or more each?
The brands I am looking at are B&W ASW600 & 650 (10 & 12 inch woofer), PSB, Velodyne, HSU and others. I will be matching them with the B&W LCR 600 center, B&W 602S3 for L&R, and B&W Leisure Monitor for surround. Please advice me on my best options. My budget is limited to 1000.00 and 1200.00 maximum.
