I listened to a demo of the B&W ASW675. It definitely added nice heft in the bass, and it had no trouble keeping up in a $40,000 system (Mark Levinson & Avalon). I would think the 600 or 650 would be great for your system, but do have a listen first.

Regarding closed vs. ported boxes, given a choice I prefer a sealed system, but that parameter alone does not determine ultimate quality between competing designs.
