The question i asked him was very specific about upconverting over component and the ansewer was yes and his friends got good results just by forcing 1080i on the output, however the results are in the picture if by some reason its not upconverting ill put it against it any day.Mabe it's because its not 1080p i know there not supposed to, but you would have to see for yourself.
