    Well Quentin is an American - isn't that THE thing American's are known for - guns and shooting and killing? He reflects what he sees.
    
    The French film makers make films with lots of Sex and Nudity - They make what they see.
    
    Seems reasonable to me.

  I'll take my chances.Quenten went to a lot of effort to make it retro 1969. I think the story happens at the same time Charles Manson was at Spahn ranch and the movies characters have run ins with the Manson Family. Should be intersting.
