This is the most violent, brutal film I have ever seen. Brutally violent. All it was lacking was torture scenes. I didn't see the first two films, and wasn't really expecting this. Not just close up head shots in front of the camera, but 60 of them, over and over. Couldn't believe it. Victor should really check out this film. Handgun slaughter fest. Chop-saki, kung-fu city. The violence was almost non stop.
Big speakers and little amps blew my mind!
Follow Ups:
See the previous films, as there is a cool story, surrounding Mr. Wick
I am ready for the next installment/story.
That's why he can get beaten silly or shot three times and spring back in fifteen screen minutes.
Okay okay, it's just good clean fun, suitable for children of all ages.

I might say that about '300' but not this.
even the last sequel, as the ending clearly points to next sequel(s)...
You won't be too disappointed if you go in fully expecting to see some cartoon series.
This movie made me think back to the radio ad for a Sam Peckinpah film, "Fifteen men must die to, BRING ME THE HEAD OF ALFREDO GARCIA!"
That's about ten seconds worth of JW.
[Insert Monty Python Sam Peckinpah sketch here.]

For that soft feminine touch. I think Wick2 was the best but Berry's dogs were stupendous.
I'm surprised the director left out the arterial wounds. There should have been arterial wounds.
Yep, the Russian femme fatales could snuff me anytime.

It's old-man gun-violence porn with no real excuse to exist.

violence. Keanu is a really decent person, and I find it interesting that he would want to be associated with material like this... I guess a paycheck overrules any sense of morality....
I get that, as I don't "get" Tarantino's films. Can't recall one that I enjoyed in all honesty.
As for John Wick... I saw the first one and liked it OK. But it was already far too violent for me. If the sequels are as or more so, I'll definitely pass.
as the director himself... Weird for weird's sake... I honestly don't see the appeal!
I didn't know this was a Tarantino film. Makes sense. I always wondered it he was crazy, and then I saw him on celebrity Jeopardy, and that guy is crazy as a box of frogs.

Tarantino film... It's not. I only referenced Tarantino because his films glorify violence as does this series of films. Like I said, Tarantino is an odd duck.. I would not be at all surprised to see his name on the roster of celebrities that have bumped elbows with Epstein and taken a ride on his Lolita Express... We'll see....
