I watch Netflix streaming when I like the subject material and if it has a rotten tomatoes rating of 85% or more. So far after watching dozens, I figure the attrition rate is over 85%. If the story isn't any good, then I stop watching and move on to the next one.If they don't come up with something really good soon, then I'm giving up and either renting or get it from the library.
Seems most have stories that are copycats of other films. Years ago I thought that Roger Ebert was uppety and elitist. Now I'm starting to think more like him.
Follow Ups:
Scorsese's first film b/w '68 w/ Keitel. Lots of other stuff.

As soon as I finish watching the last season of 'Supernatural' I'm going to cancel. But to give them their due, if you're Indian, Chinese, Korean, transgender, a woman, or black it's a great option.

Or, maybe, Rotten Tomatoes is a bad judge of movies.
When they say a movie is a stinker, they are right. There are maybe a few factors involved in their ratings like demographic interests. When they give a 90% rating, I have to wonder who are they speaking to.
You have finally noticed that there are only a few plots. distributed over hundreds of movies.
My objection to NetFlix is that I can't find ANY old movies I'd like ot see......
Too much is never enough
I think Taxi Driver is streaming now. But yes, Netflix pales in comparison to Prime for older stuff.
