Car chases, shootings, fights, humor, outlandish settings, it's all over the top in this internationally cast spy-avenger film. Reynolds plays a tech billionaire that decides he can help the world by settling scores in mostly homicidal ways. Being dead facilitates escapes and his selected team is just that.
Listed as "exciting", I would concur in a Michael Bay kind of way. If you like him then see it. There will be a sequel.
Follow Ups:
I want the two plus hours of my life back that I wasted on that trash! I only watched it because I like Ryan Reynolds... even he could not make it worth the while for me....
Give me Ronin any day.
Totally lost interest after maybe 10 minutes.

Obviously you couldn't care less for Bay and you shouldn't have wasted your time. My statement is hardly a resounding endorsement of the film.
and, amazingly, wasn't even tired.
I'll probably finish it at some point though.
The first (long) sequence was more dumb than exciting and the CGI very DIY.

It was one of those many things that remind me how 50 years ago I acquired a Bally pinball machine for the basement. My then 60 year old father-in-law tried it and couldn't keep up. The wife and I were secretly amused.
Tried to watch it last night. Couldn't keep up.
Always do right, it will please some people and astonish the rest
more that I didn't want to.
Not very engaging.
Soderbergh does this sort of story telling thing much better.
Bay uses a lot of CGI smoke and mirrors to compensate for that.
