Seasons 1 & 2 were really good. This is not the news I was hoping for.

That is interesting. Thanks for posting.
Season 2 protagonist - white college professor lesbian.
They kinda lost me there.

The lead character irritated me to no end. I found the "old-timer" revolting by the fact that he was smoking in every scene! Every scene!
The murderers were quite good, though, but not enough to offset the two main characters for me.
.
We started watching that crime serial, and it is mildly entertaining. Nice European scenery always helps. You might give it a shot, there are some interesting characters in there.

The second from the left was used in Season 1. I believe Season 2 used the one on the right. I could help them with props for some reasonable compensation.Frankly... I would not miss the show all that much. It was just OK, I think, by the modern US TV standards. Not even close to the better examples like The Killing.
I truly wish they also brought in more European crime shows, stuff from France and Belgium tends to be more fun to watch. German... not so much.

What I enjoyed most about Mindhunters was the performances of the actors they found to play the murderers. There were some real gems.
Thanks for the tip on The Killing, Vic. It's on my watch list.
We saw the first 3 seasons, all excellent. Another remake of a foreign series we liked was The Bridge. We tried the Danish original, liked the remake better.

Just to avoid the confusion: I was talking about the US remake of the European production with the same title. I thought this was one of those rare occasions when the remake beat the original.

Forget it Jake... it's Netflix.
