1917 has the best surround sound I ever experienced. I have never experienced such immersive blend of picture and sound.

I really enjoyed the movie once I forgot about the one long take part of it, which is silly to me but mostly worked. It almost had a first person effect in the action scenes which was pretty cool.

If you are going to see this movie see it in the theater.

What stuck me was how aggressive the Germans were portrayed. Our Brit lads were lambs in lion country it seemed. Stark contrast.

  They were heavily medicated right before an invasion/battle to keep them going without tiring. Probably like a modern day meth crazed violent person that seems to have limitless energy.
