I liked the 27 episodes. Very good acting by all. The story was unrealistic in parts. Anne was superb, great acting. Have to admit I miss the characters.

I desperately want them to continue. I miss them all so bad especially Anne and the parents.

Agreed on very good acting by all.
The girl playing Anne had one heck of a job remembering all those lines !
Marilla, Matthew and Anne are all very well played.
Enjoying it.

The mother is a great actor. I have seen her in British movies and I remember her as the young disciple of Gandhi in Attenborough's movie.I have seen the father as smart executive and he excels as the farmer in this serial. He says so much without saying but with simple movements of eyes and head. I love these characters.

The three main characters are absolutely wonderful. We are half way through the second season now and love this show.
Just found out though that it has not been renewed for a fourth season.
Such a shame. Its the best thing I've watched in ages.
Edit: I think I'm fairly well smitten with Marilla, wonderfully played by Geraldine James. And yes, Matthew is very expressive for a man of few words.
