All you need is a library card from a library that is part of its system.
Follow Ups:
If you like foreign films Kanopy is a good choice. They have classics like Rules of the Game, Jules and Jim, L'Age d'Or, Maigret Sets a Trap.
They also have documentaries like The Trials of Henry Kissinger, CIA:Covert Experiments, Harry Dean Stanton: Partly Fiction, Howard Zinn: A People's History, Naomi Klein: Rise of Disaster Capitalism, and The Corporation.
Jean Gabin is good in Maigret on Kanopy, but even better is the whole series of Maigret on Hoopla TV. That series (French w/subtitles) features Bruno Cremer and is my favorite Detective series in video and I've seen almost all of them going back to the Rockford Files.

There seems to be a preselected few movies to choose from. Nothing that I search for comes up. Seems like a lot of documentaries and social issues stuff.
I was a Kanopy user until the New York Public Library decided it was too expensive. I was told the cost to NYPL was $2.00 per play of at least 30 seconds. It's a shame because it's a good service.
I wonder if it varies, library to library?

terrific buildings.
and undoubtedly some sort of financial deal.
Prime and darned if it wasn't there for free. Hopefully as I never hit the "play" button, that one won't count against my quota of 4. Ended up watching Park's Handmaiden instead.

So much humor! I have all three and I watched 'Old Boy' the least.
was Handmaiden. Loved the twist and the way they backstoried that in Parts 2 & 3. I'm not a fan of lesbian love scenes but I gotta hand it to em, that lengthy one in Part III kinda raises the bar.Oldboy is my second favorite but probably the one I'm least likely to watch again. So intense and visceral at the end it was discomforting..
